We got it running eventually with the help of a roaming Cornish mechanic but were to far behind time wise to continue, gutted but at least managed to get home under our own steam.

Bodmin Moor is a cold dark desolate place at Midnight !!!!!!

We had spent so much time preparing the car - but then it's the one thing you don't check that lets you down :-/ never mind cause we learnt a lot, still had a right laugh and an adventure, made some new friends and that's what we do it for

That would be good, my only concern the rear sticky may not last long. I am bidding on another old wheel so i can lace a 18" rim to give me more normal tyre choices.
