I'd appreciate any thoughts or observations from anyone who has ridden or owned one? PMs probably more appropriate but much less fun than sharing.
I know I like the Beta frames brilliantly red colour as it matches the nail varnish I choose only for special occasions. I'm more concerned by whether the Beta 430 engine characteristics are closer to an RFS KTM 400 EXC (which I love) or an RFS KTM 450 EXC (which leaves me cold)? Anyone ridden the Beta 430? Like to hear.

I have made multiple references to how the Betas remind me of older KTM 400s. It got me thinking about the subject so much that I went out and bought one. I scooped a very clean, low mile 2004 KTM 400exc. It will be part of the fleet of Baja tour bikes. But I also intend to spend some time riding it back to back with the 390. It will be interesting to see what a decade of progress adds up to on the trail....
