Motorcycle Parking In Beer Part 3

Just to let you all know that EDDC has finally seen sense and provided some PROPER motorcycle parking in Beer,  It is in the Central Car Park  behind the Dolphin Hotel and located on the left hand side just before the doctors surgery.  There is room for about 20 bikes if parked sensibly.

Parking at the bottom of Beer St on the pavement and in the small carpark is not permitted.  Many thanks to a NIMBY new local resident for getting that put through both EDDC and DCC, who disregarded the parish council advice.  One can only hope that in the spirit of public service,  complaints to Beer Parish Council, EDDC and DCC are made about flower pots, tubs and deck chairs which now cause an obstruction on the pavement, outside Beach House,  close to the old parking area, by anyone who feels concerned about new residents compromising public safety.

Nice to have proper parking, however why are motorcycles still banned from the bottom carpark even if you buy a ticket.

Also nice to know that EDDC can waste so much of our money.  We now have the third large sign in the carpark in as many months. I would love to know how much a sign costs, but they wont be cheap, and you can bet you life the councillors who messed it up, are not paying for the signs themselves.

More signs yet be changed as the entry sign to Central Car Park still says motorcycles have to pay and display, nice one EDDC you really know how to help local business, and waste council tax at the same time, there are a lot of very unhappy people in Beer over this, who wont forget when the time comes you are out creeping for votes.

 You never know the sign company may have miss printed and replaced for free??
