Hi Sean,
 
I wanted to let your group, Devon Trail Riders Fellowship, know that there will be a 10km off-road running event in Tipton St John on Saturday 9th July, setting off from the playing field at 10.30am for a children's fun run and 11am for the 10km. Most 10km runners are home within around an hour, back of the pack runners within an hour and a half. I have attached a route map fyi.
 
The run is a fundraising event for the community owned village playing field.
 
Primary reason for emailing is to let your riders know there'll be runners on some roads/tracks that morning, but also to ask if you have anyone who'd be prepared to be a marshal for the event. There are a couple of areas that are remote from roads that it would be good to have some two-wheeled access to.
 
I see your riders out on the lanes quite often (we live in Green Lane, the off-road track that leads up to Venn Ottery common). They're always very polite and slow down for me and my dogs. I asked one of them if you do marshalling and he said to message you about it.

Need to check diary but if free will pop down and help - only an hour or so and good local PR in an area used by many......

I have spoken to Jo Earlam, the organiser, and she would like one possibly two people on 192-102, fluxton to metcombe.

JT if you are ok for this I will put you in touch with Jo.

Also she wanted people on the old railway line through Harpford woods, and is checking with Clintons if we would be able to do that on 2 wheels.

Ok thanks for letting me know Jt. 

so is anyone else available on Saturday morning 9th July for a couple of hours to act as a Marshall on the Tipton St. John fun run. Mid morning for a couple of hours. You could incorporate it into a run out  in east Devon.
