yamaha xt 350 kickstart shaft

Hey guys had a great day out on my new lol 1990 xt yesterday, but this morning I went out to kickstart it for another little play and the bloody shaft snapped that the kickstart is attached to. Sent a pic of it to a friend who said that it looks like it could of been cracked for awhile, so very lucky it happened on my drive way and not miles from home. So if anyone out there has one or knows anyone breaking an xt 350 please give me a shout. Looked at sourcing a brand new one and they are just over a hundred quid.. If I can't find one then I'll just have to bite the bullet as I'm loving getting into this off road mullarky .

Thanks in advance for any input .

I would bite the bullet and buy new, a used kickstart would also have some life issues and may also break without warning.

Cheers Doug , after a bit of thought I'm definitely gonna go down the brand new route mate. Hopefully be out and about soon.
