Swapped a tubliss over recently, didn't bother with tubliss rim tape,just wound a good quality electrical insulation tape around the rim to cover spokes, been on for 3 months now no bother . There is no 'free air' between the liner and the rim anyway so nothing to leak out through the spokes just a high pressure tube that needs the usual protection from the spoke ends.
