The repair looks a bit rough but is better than the dragons back of rocks previously sticking out of the ground between the hairpins. There is now a choice of lines. I saw this guy hanging around just before the bend.
The forestry work currently under way is probably the reason this has been done. The ford beside the bridge has been opened for them but this time there is a chain around the gate they have erected there.
