Stolen TTR

Customer of ours sent this email, thought I would post up here for him.

Hi Stephen/Lisa,

Just a heads-up in case you get offered any 2nd hand parts or bikes: my TTR was stolen last Sunday night (29 Jan) from Bristol.

Reg no:

K475 RCR - no doubt long removed.

Description;

    • Purple/white open enduro model

    • Black seat cover

    • Black Pro-Grip fork gaiters

    • White bark buster hand guards

    • Renthal bars

    • Blue Acerbis Cyclope headlight unit

    • Michelin 4.00/18 trials tyre rear

    • Mitas trials tyre front

    • Poorly repainted exhaust header guard

    • Norma exhaust clamp on silencer to header.

    • Slight oil weep from head, left hand side.

Unique identifying marks:

    • Rear brake lever pivot bolt snapped and seized in frame. Insert with spigot welded in. Brake lever modified to suit. Painted with poorly matching Yamaha purple.

    • Damaged engine casing on LHS: the sprag clutch wore and the idler gear boss cracked off the casing. An insert was made up and welded in. Small oil weep near where the starter motor pinion fits inside the casing.

    • Plastic speedo pickup housing cover trimmed down to improve mud clearance. Nice little mod. Never seen another like it.

    • Cracked rear mudguard plastic, where it bolts to the frame underneath the rear light.

That's all I can think of.

If you hear of anything, could you give me a shout?

Keep them peeled please. Steve
