I think i have an old but useable pair in my garage, I can let you have them on Sunday if you like.
I also have a pair of Alpinestars that cost me about £200 last year, worn only 3 times, that i'll probably sell for a sensible price if said friend finds he/she likes it and wants a better pair later.
