RE: Meet the TRF Directors - Dolphin Hotel, Bovey Tracey 13th Feb - 8pm

National Proposal - 25% of members subscriptions/Fees to be directly transferred into their own group funds Annually (without doing the match funding bit)

This will enable ALL TRF groups to have something to SELL to existing members + potential new joining members of their particular group

we as a group could begin/fund new BIGGER projects to open up overgrown/blocked green roads - volunteers are in decline, what holds for the future

This in turn would help the scenario "we pay our membership monies so stuff volunteering for duties" (Currently your membership money goes to National funds)

if everyone is happy to pay their membership and do nothing this proposal would go a long way to achieve this with a possible outcome that would help ALL concerned

How much National funding do SOUTHWEST groups receive on an annual basis

Devon group has kept 300 + members year on year for a while now - 300 members x £40 = ..........

Heh
I like your thinking whackmeister

Then we use matched funding and in no time we've got a fleet of plant and equipment that would make lane clearing more fun than trail riding ( if it isn't already )

Seriously though,

the more questions we have, the better. This is probably the first time members have had opportunity to air their concerns in quite a while .....

I reckon it should be an interesting meeting and rumour has it that there might even be contingents from adjoining groups (-:

Lets hope the Devon turnout is worthy of possibly the largest TRF group in the country ?

From what I know the rumour mill is correct as this is a SW events and invites have gone out to Cornwall, Dorset & Somerset TRF groups... hopefully a good turnout for this Tuesday.
