BETA 400 RT (2007) RR Rear Wheel

Hi,

I'm looking for a rear wheel for my Beta 400 RR. Looked on eBay but nothing. Anyone have any ideas where I might be able to get a 2nd hand one?

Thanks in advance.

James

Whats the matter with your wheel?
The wheels, obviously are the sum of the bits.
Pin down the hub manufacturer and go from there.
Same hub will likely be used in other bikes etc.

Cross referencing the disc is a good starting point.

Thanks Jerry,

Just looking for a second rear wheel for ease of use for a different tyre when needed for something like the somerset TRF event next sunday. Still considering whether it is worth getting one at all.

Thanks

James

Measurements!
Wheel spindle size, usually 20mm, some modern 22mm, can usually be taken out in bearing.
If not, simply get someone with lathe to spin ot a mm. Basic hubs are usually the same casting, so plenty of meat.
Obvious measurements, sprocket face to disc distance, ie caliper to chain line is critical, dont want to be messing with caliper mounting.
Offset on rim less important, remove from hub, set up with new off set and relace with the same spokes.
The worst you will get with the spokes is if they are a fraction too long. Just shorten with grinder.
Spacers are just that, spacers, alloy tube cut in lathe to thge correct dimension.
Adam of "Noath Engineering" will accomodate. Excellent lad, money sensible and all the jobs he has done for me - Spot on.
Including all of the above!
I have, albeit not paid for yet, John ;), Husky 18" wheel, complete with good tyre, disc etc etc.
Im almost certain same as Gas gas, generic spanish hub, probably same for Italian.
If you are serious then I will remeasure and let you have the dims to compare.
Or if you are local to Exeter then bring out your wheel or bike to compare.
