Hi John.  Started my Norton ES2 (500cc single cylinder 4 stroke) for a friend from USA.  He said it made a Harley sound smooth.biggrin

I get it, music to my ears, nice one. I hate loud exhausts, but love the tune you can get out of an old motor.

The Kawasaki 500 reminded me of this video which suffers from the two stroke marmite effect in that you either love it or you don't.

I figure that if I have to explain something like this to someone, then they will never get it.

Hell, some of the footwear worn while kicking those bikes over - I guess none of those guys has ever been ' kicked back' hmm

It makes me feel a bit of a wuss for always putting on a boot before kicking my BSA, even if I'm not going to ride it!
