From "Just Beezas"

I think this is a really good idea, but there seem to be loads of objections.

I think the objections are due to road legal bikes being refused fuel. Whole heartedly agree if some scrote rides an mx bike onto the forecourt they should be refused but not registered legal trail bikes (which is what has been happening.)

Yes. May be they could have included the word "unregistered"

Two questions:

1. Who are they to give a definition of what is an 'off-road' bike? Is a road legal enduro bike off-road? Well, yes it is - but it is legal. Is an Adventure bike off-road? Well, sort of - but....

2. Anyone attempting to fuel an off-road bike will be reported to the Police for what, precisely?

I think perhaps they should have included the words 'this is a load of bollocks'

It does seem reasonable as it is an offence to drive a motor vehicle off road and it looks like a reflection of the reality that there are too many tossers riding illegally and nobody does anything about it and I can't say I blame them as I have been appalled by the behaviour of people with number plates as well as those without.

It is unfortunate that Joe Public does not know the difference between a road registered trail bike complete with number plate and a motocross bike, but I expect this is something they will have brought to their attention when their pumps get taken up by trail riders who can not go away without fuel.

If it were local to me I would deliberately include it as a fuel stop on a run to make the point by taking up every pump at once.
